Time for my monthly beauty round up and January favourites are served.
Maybelline The Rocket Volum Express Mascara | Finally I've grabbed one of this. Brought with me from Switzerland and I'm really glad with it. The plastic wand is great at separating the lashes and also buildable.
OPI Avoplex Cuticle Oil to go | My nails were struggling with the cold air and they really dried out. All I needed was some daily cuticle oil and they're already back to tip top shape. The OPI cuticle oil to go is my fave as it's so small and easy to throw in your handbag.
The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder | Has turned out one of my favourites bronzers so far. It's completely one-dimensional without shimmer or sparkle, but man, have The Body Shop got this shade spot-on. It's perfect for adding a hint of contour and does´t get too orangy.
Nars Digital World Lip Pencil Coffret | I love Nars but, unfortunately we don't have it in Portugal. When I saw their Christmas releases, I knew I had to indulge and this set stole my heart immediately. I absolutely love the range of shades available, they really do have all bases covered with a nude, my-lips-but-better, neon brights and a vampy red. Three of the five shades are actually limited edition (Torres del Paine, Descanso and Iberico) which made me want this set even more. They are super quick to apply, they have extreme colour payoff and the matte formula means they last all day and night even when eating and drinking. Cruela is the most amazing, scarlet red with a blue undertone and definitely my top pick from the bunch.
Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Oil Miracle | I already was a big fan of BC Oil Miracle Finishing Treatment for Thick Hair but this one, made of Barbary fig oil and keratin is pure magic in a bottle. Finally I've found a product that really detangles my wet hair in just a few seconds, literally. Delivers instant shine to the hair and goes deeply into the hair to fill the damaged areas.
Cartier Lys Rose | It was released last Summer but it works just fine in the winter time. Lys Rose gives of a lot of pepper, woody musk and dry raspberry at first sniff.
Urban Decay Naked2 Palette | Probably my fave Christmas gift. Twelve neutral eyeshadows in a variety of finishes - matte, shimmer and micro glitter - really damn long lasting, what makes this palette the perfect one. The mix of cool and warm tones is great for experimenting and I always seem to find a use for it. It's really travel friendly and I was impressed with the doubled ended brush – a fluffy crease brush on one end and a flat brush on the other. And finally I got myself a black eye shadow that's fuckin' black and lasts for hours.
I hope you enjoy reading about my favourite products from this month. What were yours?!
